List the stages a job passes through and how many days each one gets. The calculator adds them up, compares the total with the turnaround you promised, and shows the due date for both your team and the customer.
Stages and the time each one gets
Stages add up to 5 working days. You promised 7.
You have 2 working days of buffer.
Internal finish: Fri, Oct 30, 2026 · Customer due date: Tue, Nov 3, 2026
How to read the result
- Buffer above zero: the stages fit inside the promise. The buffer is the slack you have for rework and waiting.
- Buffer of zero: any delay in any stage breaks the SLA.
- Negative buffer: the promise is shorter than the work. Shorten a stage or promise more time.
Working days or calendar days
Working days skip Saturdays and Sundays, which is what most customers assume when you say "5 days". Use calendar days for work that runs through weekends. Public holidays are not counted.
